Our clients are a chartered insurance broker, who are now looking to bring a trainee on as an Insurance Administrator to deal with Personal Lines insurance products (B2C), based in their Weston Super Mare office. To be considered you must have achieved GSCEs in Maths and English.

As a business, they ensure that their clients receive the very best advice and customer service on a wide range of insurance products - acting for over 8,000 corporate, commercial, and personal clients throughout the UK. As an employer, they provide their staff with a fun and lively working environment whilst also encouraging and developing them through their insurance careers.

About the role

As a Personal Lines Administrator you will be asked to support some Administration aspects for their Brokers and wider Insurance team to ensure their duties and tasks are completed to a high standard.

Responsibilities
  • Insurance Broker Support duties which include, but are not limited to:
  • Booking in new business proposal forms
  • Policy sending
  • Policy chasing
  • Policy saving
  • Allocating policy chasing list
  • Completing client questionnaires/online validations
  • Maintain Client Accounts
  • Prepare and Proofread Documents
  • Provide Basic Office Administration
  • Provide exemplary customer service to all business customers
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with key partners
  • Be responsible for the management of your own workload
  • Adhere to agreed service standards
  • Keep up to date and converse with lending criteria, products and special schemes and convey this accurately to brokers over the telephone
  • Support the sales and new business application processes including use and understanding of the broker portal and systems
