Job summary

We are looking for a motivated and aspiring Immigration Caseworker to join our Liverpool office. Working as part of a supportive and experienced team, you'll gain valuable exposure to asylum and immigration matters, develop your legal knowledge and skills, and work towards achieving Law Society Senior Immigration Caseworker accreditation.

What do we need?

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Immigration Caseworker to join our Immigration team in Liverpool. This is a structured trainee position with the aim of progressing to Law Society Senior Immigration Caseworker accreditation within six months by passing the Senior Caseworker accreditation exam.

Once accredited, you will advise and represent clients in asylum and immigration matters funded under legal aid, with ongoing supervision and support from experienced practitioners.

Overall purpose of the role

To support the Immigration team in delivering high-quality advice and representation to clients in asylum and immigration matters. You will develop your technical knowledge, case management skills and professional competence while working towards Senior Immigration Caseworker accreditation.

Key responsibilities

Work under the supervision of senior members of the Immigration team.
