Job Description:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a trainee gas engineer to join one of the country's leading HVAC Contractors. This will be a mobile role covering Bristol and the surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have a HVAC background and hold F-gas qualifications.

This role will involve carrying out various tests, inspections, and general maintenance works in commercial premises. Our client specialises in the commercial sector in premises such as retail stores, gyms, and care homes.

Duties:

• Support other technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
• Prioritise and complete minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensure all tools and equipment necessary for minor maintenance and repairs are always available and in good condition.
• Although aligned to an area for PPM completion, there may be times when the Technician will need to attend other sites within the cluster to carry out work.
• Work with company and client colleagues to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Represent the company professionally and develop good relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Carry out all tasks in accordance with specific KPIs.

Qualifications

F-gas qualification is required.

Salary / Package

• Basic Salary - negotiable depending on experience
• Paid Travel Time door to door
• Overtime Rates
• 23 days holiday (rising to 26 with length of service) plus 8 bank holidays
