Job description

This position is permanent but subject to further funding.

What will the role look like?

As a member of the team, based at one of our three hubs, you will be an integral part of Forward Leeds, offering housing support with people actively accessing treatment for their substance or alcohol use. Our aim is to improve people’s outcomes in their treatment and substance use, by offering support to access safe and stable housing.

Your role involves delivering appropriate support and interventions to enable people to address their substance misuse and maintain accommodation appropriate to their needs. This may include working with people who have their own homes, an LCC tenancy, rent from a private landlord or are in temporary or supported accommodation.

What we are looking for?

We are looking for someone with a passion for supporting vulnerable people and helping them to make changes to their substance/alcohol use and housing needs.

The successful candidate should have an excellent understanding of supporting individuals with multiple complex support needs and experience in working in a related field; supporting people who have housing support needs and/or drug or alcohol support needs, delivering interventions that encourage positive change in behaviours.

Are you motivated and enthusiastic about working to help people and have a solution focussed attitude to work?
