Trainee HIU Engineer for an independent Manufacturer - 27 – 35K – London

My client is a heating product manufacturer who installs, commissions, services, and maintains their own HIU products across London, with over 100,000 units installed.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for a trained plumber seeking a trainee HIU Engineer position to work alongside a fully-fledged engineer in the business. You will gain firsthand experience and training to carry out commissioning, servicing, fault finding, and repairs to their HIU products within London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on Heat Interface Units.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Adhere to health and safety regulations and company standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service and cultivate strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency.

Requirements:

• Relevant technical qualifications in heating, plumbing, or related fields.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Any previous HIU experience is a bonus but not essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Valid UK driving license.

Package:

• Up to 35K basic salary depending on experience.
• Hours: 08:30 till 17:00.
• Company van & fuel card provided.
• 28 days holiday including bank holidays.
