About the Role

As a Trainee HGV Driver, you will:

• Deliver palletised goods to depots, businesses and private premises in a 3.5t van.
• Liaising with the transport team for collections after all deliveries have been made.
• Training will be provided for you to start your route into becoming a qualified HGV driver. Once you are fully qualified, you will be driving Class 1 and Class 2 lorries. These will be with curtain sided trailers.
• Complete daily vehicle checks on your company phone.
• Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations.
• Attending regular training sessions.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• A Cat C Provisional license is desirable.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
