Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a time-served plumber or electrician to transition into heat pumps and renewables. You will be trained by a specialist and move into a long-term career with a private-use van, covering the South West.

The role involves morning/afternoon appointments, travel time counted as working hours, and a family-friendly, flexible schedule. You'll service and maintain domestic heat pump systems across Somerset, Devon and Bristol, with additional travel to Cornwall every

Qualifications

• Must have a strong work ethic and good communication with customers.
• Be well organised and capable of managing a field-based schedule.
• Plumber or electrician with college qualification aiming to specialise in heat pumps.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain domestic heat pump systems.
• Cover the South West from an M5 corridor base (Somerset, Devon, Bristol).
• Attend AM/PM appointments with travel time paid within working hours.
• Receive full manufacturer training alongside F-Gas/electrical/plumbing qualifications.
• No overtime, no weekends, with flexibility around family commitments.
