A major healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Trainee Health Screener Grader in the Sevenoaks area. In this role, you will support diabetic eye screening and gain valuable skills toward your Health Screener Diploma. This position offers a starting salary of £23,809.50, increasing upon diploma completion, with the potential for career advancement to roles earning up to £45k. Diabetic eye screening is a test to check for eye problems caused by diabetes. It can detect issues before sight is affected; pictures are taken of the back of the eyes to check for changes.

Experience in a caring environment or hospital background is preferable but not necessary. Screeners come from all walks of life. You will be trained on the job and will gain the skills and knowledge to complete your Health Screener Diploma. There are opportunities to progress your career in Diabetic Eye Screening with salaries up to £45k after training, including roles such as Screener/Grader, Arbitration Grader, Referral Outcome Grader, OCT examiner, OCT grader, Slit Lamp Examiner, and Team Leader/Management.
