Job description

A firm of accountants based in Carlisle is planning their Graduate intake and is in the process of interviewing recent graduates who are looking to start their career in Accountancy.

This is a dedicated programme, and candidates will be expected to be put forward for their ACA / ACCA studies in their quest to become Chartered.

What you will be doing:
  • Help in the provision of accounting.
  • Assist with the reviewing and reporting of financial transactions, ensuring all information is accurate and compliant.
  • Assist with reviewing and processing accounting data and revenue.
  • Assist with the production and preparation of monthly management reports.
  • Help to prepare and analyse financial reporting.
  • Other ad hoc duties when required.
What you will have:
  • Minimum 2.1 degree within a relevant field.
  • Ability to stick to deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Willingness to learn.
