Job summary

Paranova Print and Packaging in St Neots is seeking a Trainee Glue Minder to join the manufacturing team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of gluing machines, following SOPs and meeting customer requirements. Training is provided and progress opportunities are highlighted.

The role is permanent and full-time with 4 on 4 off shift patterns (days or nights). Trainee pay starts at £13.77 per hour plus weekly supplements depending on days or nights worked, with benefits and career

Qualifications

• Able to work with minimal supervision and solve problems.
• Proactive and well organised with great attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily running of glue Minders' machines in line with SOPs and customer requirements.
• Follow standard operating procedures and ensure quality standards.
• Identify and report issues to ensure smooth production flow.

Who are we looking for

Successful applicants are able to work with minimal supervision, with ability to problem solve. We are looking for proactive, organised people, whom have great attention to detail. You would be responsible for the day to do the running of the gluing machines, in line with our standard operating procedures, and specific customer requirements. The successful candidate will have great problem solving skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.

St Neots - Cromwell Road

Shift Patterns

4 on 4 off days (6am-6pm) OR 4 on 4 off nights (6pm-6am)

Pay Rates

Pay dependent on experience. Trainee rate: £13.77ph + weekly shift supplement of £20 (4/4 days) or £100.62 (4/4 nights)
