Beamglow Limited is seeking a Folding Carton Gluing Operator to join our busy Gluing/Finishing Department, using Bobst and Baumer HHS equipment to deliver high-quality cartons. The role involves preparing and running multiple carton styles, leading a small team and ensuring on-time production.

The position offers a 4-day week (40 hours), salary £33,000–£39,000 per annum, paid breaks, and a health and wellbeing programme with training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a folding carton gluing operator and able to run multiple carton styles (undersize, straight-line, crash lock, integral fitments).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to maintain high-quality cartons.
• Good communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of leading a small team and reporting to Gluing Manager.
• Pride in producing top-quality cartons.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team in Gluing/Finishing and report to Gluing Manager.
• Prepare and set up for different carton styles.
• Maintain high quality standards and finish.
• Work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Machine/Gluing Operator Requirements

• Previous experience, as an operator, with the ability to make ready all styles including undersize, straight-line, crash lock and integral fitments
• Attention to detail
• Ability to problem solve, trouble shoot and innovate to achieve high quality cartons
• Capable of working to strict deadlines in a fast paced and adaptable environment
• Good communication skills
• Work with high quality materials, cartons and finishes
• Ensuring the companies quality standards are maintained
• Leading a small team, reporting to Gluing Manager
• Enthusiasm and determination to excel and be proud of the cartons you produce
