About The Role & Grad2Teach Programme

This placement is part of the Grad2Teach salaried initial teacher training programme, providing a supported, experience-led route into teaching while working towards your PGCE and QTS.

You Will

• Start as a Graduate Teaching Assistant supporting French lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.
• Progress through a two-phase training model increasing responsibility and teaching practice.
• Complete a PGCE with QTS via Coventry University.
• Earn a salary with no tuition fees.
• Receive mentorship, peer support, and access to blended training aligned with Teaching Standards and the Core Content Framework.

Phase 1: Observe, assist, and support pupil progress. Phase 2: Teach independently up to 18 hours/week while completing PGCE assessments.

Candidate Requirements

We are seeking candidates who:

• Hold a UK bachelor’s degree, ideally in French, Modern Languages, or a related field.
