Job Description

We are working with a superb wealth management firm based in Banstead, Surrey, which has an opportunity for a Trainee Financial Planner to join their team. They offer training to become a fully qualified adviser, providing learning support and hands-on experience, allowing you to control your progress towards becoming an adviser.

Responsibilities
  • Working closely with the administration team to gather policy information
  • Assisting with projects such as Mifid annual reviews, client campaigns, and portfolio rebalances
  • Helping advisers prepare reports like annual review letters and client suitability reports
  • Conducting client reviews and communicating directly with clients
  • Generating and converting opportunities into business
Experience and Qualifications
  • Studying for exams towards becoming an IFA or fully qualified
  • Some financial services industry experience preferred
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, etc.
  • Motivated to progress quickly by working hard
  • Excellent communication skills (phone, face-to-face, written)
  • Study support available
  • Hold a driving license

This is a 2-3 year program with exam support to achieve fully qualified IFA status.
