Job summary

Artemis Human Capital is partnering with a dynamic financial services & wealth management firm to appoint a Trainee Financial Planner in Belfast in a newly created, hybrid role.

You will work closely with experienced advisers, supporting client-focused financial planning, attend client meetings, and undertake research across investments, pensions and protection. The role offers study support, a clear progression path and hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Level 4 qualified (or soon to be qualified).
• Excellent previous experience in financial services & wealth management, preferably in a paraplanner-type role.
• Ambitious and driven attitude with willingness to pursue exams toward Chartered Planner.

Responsibilities

• Support experienced advisers in delivering personalised, client-focused financial planning & advice.
• Attend and contribute to client meetings and reviews, developing confidence and communication skills.
• Undertake research, analysis and preparation across investments, pensions, retirement planning and protection.
• Build and manage strong, long-term client relationships, working closely with advisers and the wider team.
• Progressively take on greater responsibility, with a clear pathway to Associate Planner, Chartered Financial Planner and beyond.

The Job
