Financial Planning Assistant + Progression + Hybrid

The successful candidate will play a key role in client administration, report preparation, and ensuring the smooth operation of financial planning processes. The main focus of the role will include:

• Providing administrative and technical support to financial planners to ensure efficient client service.
• Preparing client reports, suitability letters, and financial planning documentation.
• Conducting research and analysis on financial products, investment strategies, and client portfolios.
• Managing client records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Liaising with clients and third parties, responding to queries, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial plans and cash flow modelling.
• Keeping up to date with regulatory changes and ensuring adherence to compliance requirements.
• Supporting the implementation of financial advice and monitoring ongoing client arrangements.
• Developing technical knowledge and financial planning skills with the opportunity to progress into a Paraplanner role.

To succeed in this role, the individual will need:

• Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and organisational skills.
• Experience in a financial planning, wealth management, or similar financial services environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work methodically under pressure.
• Good understanding of financial products, pensions, investments, and protection policies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in financial planning software and CRM systems.
• A relevant financial services qualification (such as CII Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning) or progress toward one is desirable.
