Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a National Financial Planning practice in London that is looking for a Trainee Adviser to join their team.

You should hold a minimum Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Advice and have the long-term ambition to become a Chartered Financial Adviser. The training period lasts approximately 6-12 months, depending on qualifications, skills, and development speed.

As a Trainee Adviser, you will support Sales Managers and Advisers, working within a high-performing team. You will be supported by a dedicated mentor and peers during your structured training plan.

Your role includes:

  • Supporting the business needs and understanding the company structure;
  • Developing your knowledge of the Financial Services industry through seminars, workshops, and briefings;
  • Building effective relationships with teams and third-party providers;
  • Achieving regulatory approval per FCA and company requirements, undertaking CPD activities, and maintaining a Statement of Professional Standing;
  • Undertaking regulated activities under supervision after approval;
  • Completing the Adviser Sales Academy to enhance advisory skills;
  • Potentially meeting commercial targets;
  • Passing formal assessments after a minimum 6-month training period to progress into an Adviser role and work towards Regulatory Competent Adviser Status (CAS).
