Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a financial planning practice that is looking for a recently qualified Trainee/Junior IFA to join their team. The ideal candidate will be someone seeking their first step into Financial Advice. You will need to already have the Level 4 Diploma. All training will be provided.

Job Purpose

As a Trainee Financial Planner, you will assist in providing financial plans and advice to prospective and existing private clients while studying towards the CII qualifications.

Job Role

  • Learn all aspects of the firm’s financial planning services.
  • Gain experience in transactional work and assisting in the provision and implementation of private client financial advice to meet activity targets.
  • Assist in delivering independent financial plans and advice to clients, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards through effective communication, workflow management, and record-keeping.
  • Develop technical and market knowledge to support Private Client Financial Planners.
  • Maintain CPD requirements as per the T&C handbook.
  • Record and maintain information on Adviser Office to track work and keep records up-to-date.
  • Communicate with the Financial Planning Team regarding issues or findings.
  • Apply technical knowledge gained from studies and experience.
  • Gain awareness of the services provided by the business.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients.
