At Mattioli Woods, we’re inviting motivated individuals to join our July 2025 intake for the Trainee Adviser Academy – an exciting, fully funded 12-month programme that sets you on the path to becoming a qualified Financial Adviser.

This in-house programme offers a structured, supportive environment where you’ll gain valuable industry knowledge, work toward the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, and build a strong foundation in wealth management.

You’ll learn from some of our most experienced advisers and industry professionals through face-to-face training, mentoring, and real-world advisory experience, with sessions hosted at our Leicester office twice a month.

What We’re Looking For:

? Experience:

• Up to 3 years’ experience in sales, banking, mortgages, or customer service (required)
• Up to 2 years’ experience in financial services (desirable)

? Skills & Qualities:

• Genuine interest in financial planning and delivering positive client outcomes
• Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
• Confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels
• Commitment to a structured professional development journey
• Must hold a full UK driving licence (manual preferred) and pass a DBS check

What You’ll Be Doing:

Participate in classroom learning led by our in-house training team

Complete the R01–R06 exams to earn your Level 4 Diploma

Gain practical experience through client meetings and paraplanning tasks

Work closely with our Wealth Management Consultants and support teams

Attend regular sessions at our Leicester office (twice per month)

Build technical knowledge across a wide range of financial topics

Complete monthly assignments and assessments throughout the programme
