Job summary

Ellis James Partners is recruiting a Trainee Financial Adviser (Level 4 Qualified) based in the Nottingham office, covering Nottingham, Leicester and Derby. You will work with an established St.

James’s Place Partner Practice to support existing clients while you complete your Level 4 diploma. With access to Academy training, ongoing mentorship and full administrative support, this role lets you develop towards a fully qualified adviser as you expand your client relationships and grow earnings

Qualifications

• A Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning is essential.
• Confident building client relationships and commercially minded.
• Willing to develop technical knowledge and advisory skills.

Trainee Financial Adviser (Level 4 Qualified)

£40,000 basic salary + 50% of new business IAF

An established St. James’s Place Partner Practice is looking for a Level 4 qualified individual to join the team, supporting existing clients across Nottingham, Leicester and Derby.

With access to Academy training, ongoing mentorship and a client base provided, this is an opportunity to develop towards an established Financial Adviser role without having to build a book entirely from scratch.

You’ll have the backing of an established practice and full administrative support, allowing you to focus on developing client relationships, delivering quality advice as your training progresses and growing your earnings through a package that rewards the new business you generate.

Who would suit this?

A Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning is essential. You might be newly qualified and looking to take the next step into financial advice, or an existing adviser seeking a new opportunity.

You’ll need to be confident building client relationships, commercially minded and motivated to develop your technical knowledge and advice skills.

Experience within the St. James’s Place network would be useful, but advisers from other financial planning backgrounds are welcome.
