The role involves managing accounts payable, producing financial reports, and participating in a three-year training program towards AAT and ACCA qualifications. Job Purpose
You will be responsible for aiding the production of the management accounts for the Head Office division, supported by the Assistant Financial Accountant. This will include the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and the production of recharges to accurately apportion company overheads. Further to this, you will manage the accounts payable function of the Head Office division, processing invoices, payments, and bank statements. Throughout the month, you will produce key financial reports for utilisation across the central departments of the business.
The successful candidate will undertake a three-year training programme, rotating between all areas of the department to gain exposure and knowledge across the finance function, alongside studying toward an AAT qualification. There is further scope within the trainee finance programme to undertake the ACCA qualification and achieve fully qualified status whilst training as an accountant.

Key Responsibilities
è Ad-hoc reporting and analysis; to include daily cash reporting, quarterly analysis of overhead expenditure, and other reporting as required.
è Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts for several LLP businesses.
è Assisting with the group intercompany process; to include weekly reporting, reconciliation and assistance with group queries where required.
è Assisting with the management and apportionment of rechargeable company overheads.
è To carry out general purchase and sales ledger duties (to include the processing of invoices and the management of aged debtor and creditor reports).
è Assisting with the statutory audit and corporation tax returns.
è Assisting with the preparation and posting of monthly credit card reports.
è Agree and reconcile daily bank postings.
è Prepare monthly supplier payment runs for BACS submission.
è Upload daily BACS payments to the bank.
è Assisting with the management and reconciliation of group supplier accounts.
è Process new supplier requests, obtain approval and set up.
è Manage the team email inbox for any queries relating to your responsibilities.
è Answering the phone and directing calls.
è Other des as required to support the preparation of timely and accurate of management accounts.
Skills & Requirements
You will be an enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated individual that is keen to learn and adapt within our finance department. You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to your development in terms of both work and studies, showing a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. The ability to prioritise your workload whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy is essential. A driving licence is preferred for this role.
Experience
You will be a school leaver or AAT studier that is enthusiastic and committed to a career within finance.
Note: Car owner/driver preferred due to location of site.
