An excellent opportunity for a Trainee Field Service Testing & Medical Calibration Engineer to join a well-established company.

Job Details:
  • Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Location: Stansted
  • Salary: Basic salary £23K PA during 6-month probation, increasing to £24K after 6 months, and £25K after 12 months. OTE £30,000 per annum with commission.

Since 2015, they are a growing, medium-sized business specializing in servicing and maintaining medical equipment for clients including doctors' surgeries, care homes, pharmacies, gyms, and sports facilities. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality, professional, and personable service. As demand increases, they seek a reliable, customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join their team.

The Role:

You will represent the company by servicing medical equipment at customer locations. The role involves daily travel to various sites, building strong customer relationships, and working independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform on-site equipment servicing and calibrations.
  2. Manage your schedule via the live calendar system.
  3. Provide excellent customer service and develop client rapport.
  4. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
  5. Work independently and collaboratively.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Smartly presented and professional.
  • Polite, confident, and comfortable with face-to-face customer interactions.
  • Hardworking, self-motivated, and adaptable to working alone or in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Willing to travel, including overnight stays.
  • Good technical computing skills.
Additional Information:
  • Training provided in-house and externally, no prior experience needed.
  • Commission through cross-selling & up-selling, averaging £7K–£12K annually.
  • Company van, insurance, and fuel card provided.
  • Overnight stay allowance: £25/night, plus £25 meal allowance.
  • Optional Saturday overtime at £175/day.
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service.
  • Paid Christmas shutdown, company pension, healthcare after 1 year.
  • Appointments scheduled 2 months in advance via live calendar system.
  • Team incentives and up to 4 social events annually.
