Job Description

We are seeking a self-motivated individual, ideally with an engineering background, for the role of Trainee Field Engineer. This position involves installing and configuring data equipment on the Wastewater network. It is a full-time, permanent role with an outstanding company that provides full training, a vehicle, and necessary equipment.

You will become a fully trained Field Engineer and receive additional training in other specialist areas of the company's business.

Trainee Field Engineer – Benefits

• A starting salary of £26,000 per annum
• Salary increases every 6 months during training, quickly rising to £30,000 per annum

Daily Activities

• Driving between sites and working outdoors in all weather conditions

• Working within confined spaces
• Installing and maintaining various mechanical instrumentation

The Candidate

• Full manual driving license is essential
• No prior experience necessary; all training will be provided
• Electrical or mechanical experience is an advantage
• Experience as a field engineer is useful
• Relevant qualifications such as BTEC Engineering or BTEC Electrical are advantageous
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn quickly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and clients
• Flexibility to meet business needs
