Trainee Environmental Health Officer – 8 month fixed-term contract

Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? If you're in your final year studying an Environmental Health degree course, this is your chance to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills and knowledge as a Trainee Environmental Health Officer working within our Environmental Protection Team.

We’re looking for an excellent organiser who can work effectively within the team and communicate with a variety of external agencies, organisations and residents as well as colleagues. You will have an excellent work ethic and will be passionate about making sure residents feel valued because you will see the issues through their eyes.

• 36.25 hrs per week with an annual salary of £24,027 - £25,183 (pro rata to length of contract)

• Agile working scheme with a combination of home and office working

• 34 days holiday (including bank holidays) (pro rata to length of contract)
