A&P Falmouth- Trainee Engineers / Fitters

Do you have an interest in engineering and are you keen to develop your skills and a career in this field? If so, we may have the opportunity for you.

We are looking for Trainee Fitters to join our team on a full-time basis. You’ll receive hands-on, on-the-job training from experienced professionals, learning essential engineering skills whilst working on a range of marine projects.

So, what will you do?

  • Learn how to assemble, fit and maintain mechanical components and machinery on ships
  • Support and learn from experience engineers
  • Learn how to carry out maintenance and repairs on various vessels
  • Assist in the overhaul, repair, renew or modification of vessel’s main engines, generators, compressors and more
  • Follow technical drawings and engineering instructions
  • Use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
