Our client is a world‑leading engineering firm specialising in servicing industrial freezers for the food sector. Known for quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction, they’re seeking a motivated Trainee Service Engineer to join their skilled technical team.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with welding and fabrication experience to take the next step in their engineering career. You’ll travel to customer sites to support maintenance and repair work, collaborating with experienced engineers on a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding & fabrication (MIG, TIG, arc)
  • Equipment maintenance & repair
  • Creating hand‑drawn sketches for CAD
  • Writing method statements & risk assessments
  • Ensuring safety compliance
  • Delivering excellent customer service
What You’ll Need
  • Hands‑on welding/fabrication experience (certifications a plus)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 60–70%)
  • Fluent in English & French (Spanish is a bonus)
  • Strong problem‑solving and teamwork skills
Desirable
  • Experience in food production or industrial refrigeration
