A leading Trust in the UK is seeking a trainee Emergency Department Technician to provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department. This role involves assisting with personal care and medical procedures while participating in a structured training program. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to patient care and complete the Care Certificate within 12 months. The post holder is expected to work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team providing high-quality care for patients with acute illness or injury within the Emergency Department.
The post holder will participate in a training programme to become competent in the role of an Emergency Department Technician.
You will start as a trainee Emergency Department Technician on band 2 and will progress to band 3 once training is completed within 6 months. You will also complete the Care Certificate within 12 months.
