Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is assisting a well-established manufacturing company in Hitchin to recruit a Trainee Electroplater. The role is full-time and initially temporary, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate, and full training will be provided.

You will assist with the electroplating process, prepare components for plating, load/unload products, and perform quality checks while following health and safety procedures.

• Previous production or manufacturing experience is essential.
• Willingness to learn a new skill and develop within the business.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the electroplating process following full training.
• Preparing components for plating.
• Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Keeping the work area clean and organised.
• Supporting the wider production team with general duties when required.
