Job description

Trainee Electronic Inspector

Greenwich (SE10)

Long term Contract

January Start!

£10.35 - £11.39p/h

6am - 5pm, Monday - Thursday 42 hours per week
2 weeks of days, 2 weeks of nights.

Looking for a new member in the Inspection team for a Telecommunications company to start with mainly administration duties and then be provided with inspection and quality control training.

We require an Excel and SAP administrator to help with the manufacturing paperwork and system databases.

The successful candidate should have demonstrable experience within a manufacturing/Production area, have a strong administration background and be looking for a role which will push them within a manufacturing and ESD protected environment.

Daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working on the manufacturing shop floor, adhering to all ESD conditions,
  • Data entry using Microsoft Excel,
  • Using Vlookups and pivot tables,
  • Undertake visual inspection of assembled articles, manufactured by on site operators, ensuring all ESD product disciplines are adhered to and products are correctly built and tested,
  • Liaising with other departments and Supervisors to ensure the timely build and transfer of your product,
  • Following Engineering diagrams to ensure Operators have adhered to written instructions.

Skills required:

  • Work experience or education in the Electronics industry,
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft programs and SAP,
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel,
  • Confident when chasing information and data from engineers.
