Aureos is recruiting for a Trainee Electrician to work in our Specialist Power Networks division in Yeovil. You will learn from an experienced Cable Jointer and follow a fast-tracked development plan.

Responsibilities include electrical installation, maintenance, testing, setting out jobs from drawings, commissioning, fault finding, and liaising with clients and sub-contractors. The role includes training and mentoring apprentices and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and testing to BS7671.
• Set out jobs from drawings and specifications and requisition materials.
• Commission and test electrical systems and issue certification.
• Fault-find and carry out remedial works.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Support and mentor apprentices or trainees as part of daily role.

The successful candidate will be working alongside an experienced Cable Jointer learning the duties and skills needed and attending courses when needed.
