Compensation: Up to £27, dependent on skillset and experience + £1 bonus

At Babcock, we’re working to create a safe and secure world. Join us as a Trainee Electrical Vehicle Technician. We are hiring multiple Junior Electrical Vehicle Technicians at our Walsall site.

The role

As a Trainee Electrical Vehicle Technician, you’ll be part of a highly skilled team supporting our customers, including the Police, Fire, and Ambulance services. Your responsibilities will include:

• Fitting, repairing, installing, and integrating electrical and electronic systems in motor vehicles
• Fault finding and rectification
• Designing and developing electrical solutions for vehicles

This is a full-time role, Monday – Friday, with an early finish every Friday. The position is based at our Walsall site.

Qualifications for the Trainee Electrical Vehicle Technician

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant motor vehicle qualification, or proven automotive electrical experience
• Applications from newly qualified candidates are welcome

The successful candidate must be able to achieve NVVP1 and SC security clearance levels for this role.
