Job summary

Global Fire and Security Systems is seeking a motivated Trainee Electrical Service Engineer to join our team at South Bank, London. This entry-level position provides hands-on training to learn electrical maintenance, safety procedures, and firefighting/security system service under supervision.

You will assist with electrical works, routine inspections, and documentation while developing skills toward a qualified engineer role.

Qualifications

• Interest in fire safety systems.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in undertaking electrical works in a safe and efficient manner.
• Support planned preventative maintenance according to schedule.
• Maintain logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
• Assist with electrical repairs and installations under supervision.
• Report defects identified during service visits.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
