Wight Healthcare is recruiting Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP) to deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people across Hampshire. The role is fixed-term for 1 year and full-time, based across multiple sites in the county.
Training requires travel to Southampton University, with additional travel to various Hampshire locations as part of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS Foundation Trust expansion.
In line with the government's priority to increase access and availability of mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people, the Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) role is an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people, working across both educational settings and healthcare sectors in England. Due to a long term expansion plan, we currently have a number of opportunities across Hampshire to recruit to this exciting role. Successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term 1 year full-time with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and based across various locations within Hampshire where we are recruiting to new Mental Health Support teams to deliver mental health support a cross a range of educational settings in the region.
As part of this role there will be a requirement to travel to Southampton University for the academic training required for this post and travel to various sites in Hampshire.
