Nursery Manager - Trainee Early Years Trainer

Home based with Travel- Cambridgeshire

OVERVIEW

V Selective are working with an award-winning training provider who are looking to recruit a Trainee Early Early Years Trainer, in a role where you will help to shape the next generation of childcare professionals. This role lets you stay connected to Childcare sector whilst offering the flexibility of working from home, travelling to meet apprentices, and making a real difference in their careers!

This is a fantastic opportunity for a career change that will enable you to utilise your experience within Early Years working Monday to Friday, with a mix of home-based working and workplace visits, offering a better work-life balance.

A typical week will include around 3 days of travel within your area to visit apprentices, with the rest of your time spent working from home. A full driving license and access to a car is essential for this role.
Full Training is provided – you are being hired for your knowledge and experience in Early Years.

Applicants should be based in Cambridgeshire e.g. Cambridge, Peterborough, Spalding or Wisbech.

THE ROLE

  • Supporting apprentices working in nurseries and other childcare settings, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
  • Creating personalised learning plans to suit each apprentice’s needs, ensuring they have the tools to succeed.
  • Demonstrating how functional skills like maths and English play a role in early years care.
  • Building strong relationships with employers and keeping them informed about their apprentices’ progress.
  • Managing administrative tasks and planning effectively using Google Suite and other systems.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager.
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).
  • Confidence with technology and strong organisational skills.
  • Level 2 (GCSE) qualification in English and maths (or a willingness to achieve this).
  • A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle for travel within your area.

  • A starting salary of £27,000 plus tax-free bonuses when company targets are met.
