Job summary

West London NHS Trust is offering a Training Trainee Practitioner post in the CAMHS 0-5s team. The role combines clinical work with the UCL/Anna Freud Centre Postgraduate Diploma in Infant/Early Years Mental Health, under NHSE-funded Recruit to Train.

You will provide supervised, evidence-based interventions for children aged 0-5 and their families, with opportunities for community work in Family Hub settings and Childrens Centre sites.

Qualifications

• Candidates must apply for both the trainee role with the organisation and the UCL Post Graduate Diploma in IEYP Early Childhood Pathway Course to be shortlisted.
• Must be a highly motivated and enthusiastic mental health practitioner with a passion for working with families and children aged 0–5.
• Ability to work under supervision and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based individual and group interventions for children aged 0–5 and their families under intensive supervision.
• Collaborate with colleagues and liaise with other professionals in the network to support seamless care.
