Job summary

Colten Care, in partnership with RED Driving School, invites applications for a PDI Trainee Driving Instructor role. The program offers up to 80 hours of training with a dedicated RED trainer and full back‑office support, guiding you toward becoming a RED Driving School instructor.

You can earn while you learn via the trainee licence route, with extensive support to prepare for the DVSA Part 3 test and the chance to join one of the UK's largest driving schools.

Qualifications

• Full UK licence (or approved foreign licence) for at least 3 1/2 years.
• No ban from driving in the last 4 years.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Must be a 'fit and proper' person (DVSA).

Responsibilities

• Teach people to drive and deliver high‑quality instructor training.
• Help pupils pass DVSA tests with the minimum hassle.
• Prepare learners for the RED Driving School qualification and join the network.
