Key Responsibilities
- Assist drainage technician with CCTV drainage surveys to identify blockages, defects and structural issues.
- Operate jetting equipment under supervision to clear and maintain drainage systems.
- Support the use of specialist surveying tools and software to record drainage conditions.
- Learn to interpret drainage drawings, site plans and as-built records.
- Assist in preparing accurate survey reports and maintenance records.
- Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures in line with company policy and legislation.
- Keep tools, vehicles and equipment clean, safe and ready for use.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, engineers and other team members.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties to support the drainage technician and groundworks teams.
Cards & Qualifications Required
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Good practical skills and willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
- Eagerness to learn and develop technical knowledge.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Full UK driving licence (or working towards).
Desirable
- CSCS Labourer Card.
- Awareness of drainage systems or civil engineering processes.
- Basic mechanical or engineering knowledge.
