Metro Rod West Yorkshire is hiring a Trainee Drainage Engineer in the West Leeds area. The role runs 45 hours per week with a basic salary of £29,741–£31,590 plus on-call and overtime. No drainage experience is required as full training is provided; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

• Must be physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of drains for domestic and commercial customers.
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment following safety standards.
• Carry out surveys and record job details using internal systems.
• Provide excellent customer service and technical assistance.
