Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to train to become a qualified District Charge Nurse within the community. They will support the delivery of high quality care for a wide variety of patients and support the ongoing development of community nursing across Fife in line with local and National drivers. Community experience would be advantageous however not essential as full training will be given. You must have the ability to travel independently across the locality area of work.

As part of your trainee position you are also required to undertake the Specialist Practitioner in District Nursing qualification through Queen Margaret University. The course will lead to a PG Dip and is delivered on a full time basis over 1 year commencing in September 2025. You therefore must hold an appropriate academic credit rating which is a minimum of a degree and ideally demonstrate evidence of recent academic study.
