Job summary

Boots is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to join our store-based pharmacy team in the UK. No previous experience required; full training will be provided and you will work towards the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2.

You will assist in dispensing prescriptions, welcome patients, and support the pharmacist while learning to ensure the safe sale of medicines. This in-store role requires UK right to work and does not consider remote applicants.

Qualifications

• Training towards Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Current UK right to work. This role does not sponsor Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist dispensing prescriptions under the pharmacist's supervision.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Adhere to SOPs for safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Support in managing repeats and patient adherence to medicines.
• Maintain patient relationships and develop knowledge of store healthcare services.
