A leading healthcare provider in Dundee is seeking a Trainee Dispenser. You will support pharmacists, dispense prescriptions, and provide patient care. Full training will be provided with opportunities for career development. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn and hold a valid UK right to work. The hourly rate for this role is £12.60 and up to £14.13 across selected locations within London. The hourly rate will increase after 6 months in role. No previous experience is required, and full training will be provided.
About the opportunity: As a Trainee Dispenser working within one of our stores, you will be a key member of our pharmacy team as you support the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals in your store to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy and healthcare services. While you complete your Dispenser training (NVQ2), you will build relationships with patients by listening and understanding their needs, greet customers, dispense prescriptions, ensure the safe sale of medicines, and provide advice to help patients make informed health decisions.
This is a role based in-store within the UK. Remote applicants will not be considered and applications from candidates outside the UK will not be progressed unless relevant UK qualifications and right to work can be confirmed and evidenced.
Working with evolving technologies within store, you will have the opportunity to work with new systems to improve traditional dispensing processes and patient safety. Regular updates and training will develop your healthcare knowledge, with career development options including training as a Pharmacy Technician or as part of the store leadership team.
