Purpose of the role:
The Trainee Digital Marketing Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting the Performance Marketing Team at interactive investor. This role is a great opportunity to work across multiple marketing channels, including Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, Affiliates, App and SEO.
The day-to-day role will involve supporting the channel leads, putting together campaign briefs, collaborating with our creative and content teams, liaising with digital agencies, and monitoring and reporting on campaign performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support with planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across our range of channels
• Measure and report on performance and spend of the channels using a variety of tools (Google Analytics, PowerBI, Google Ads etc.)
• Research and share insights into digital marketing trends and provide recommendation to keep strategies up to date
• Collaborate with teams across the business to ensure campaigns launch efficiently and support the approval process
• Support the Performance Marketing team in managing admin processes such as raising purchase orders, managing approvals processes, and monthly invoicing
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, campaign results & trend analysis
• Assist in creating relevant marketing content/ copy as required and reviewing/ supporting the risks and controls such as quality checking all outgoing comms and creative.
• Work closely with Brand, Planning and Content teams to ensure digital marketing activity and timelines are aligned to broader marketing campaign timelines
• Monitor performance of campaign and business-as-usual (BAU) channel activity, identifying areas for improvement and growth
• Monitoring and auditing marketing content to ensure it is up to date and compliant
Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for this role, you will need:
• To be at least 18 years old as of 1st September 2025
• Be a UK/EEA citizen or have lived in the UK/EEA continuously for the last 3 years
• To be eligible to work in the UK and not in full-time education
• Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) grades A* to C (new grades 9 to 4)
• You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject

About the Apprenticeship:
As a Trainee Digital Marketing Assistant, you will develop the technical knowledge plus the professional skills and behaviours to work within our exciting and fast-paced Performance Marketing team, gaining valuable work experience plus achieving a qualification through a structured apprenticeship programme to kick-start your career.
Through the level 3 Multi-channel Marketer apprenticeship, you will develop the skills and knowledge to become a confident Digital Marketing Assistant, able to plan, deliver and analyse marketing campaigns. Within your development program, you will learn and grow knowledge such as:
• Audience research, insights and targeting
• A range of digital marketing platforms, including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta for Business, Apple Search Ads, TikTok for Business, and DV360
• How to plan, build and analyse campaigns
• Learning to analyse data using Google Analytics and PowerBI
• Learning to build reporting dashboards
By the end of the apprenticeship, you will achieve your Level 3 Multichannel Marketer apprenticeship. Typically, the apprenticeship will take around 18 months to complete.
