Due to growth, our well-established client is looking to recruit a Junior Designer into their thriving business. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in a modern, forward-thinking, and reputable company in their field.

The Trainee Design Engineer will be involved in:

1. Working with other designers to produce bespoke designs for innovative products
2. Assisting in developing 3D models during the early stages of the design process
3. Gathering information from customers and suppliers via phone
4. Using SolidWorks software to prepare manufacturing drawings
5. Supporting the team in developing new and existing products

We are looking for someone who:

• Has some basic experience in a design role, including customer contact and CAD modelling (preferably SolidWorks)
• Is seeking to progress their design career, whether a recent graduate or with some on-the-job experience in product or structural design
• Is passionate about product development, able to contribute to concept development, and a motivated team player
• Has their own transport and a UK driving license (essential requirement)
