Practice Opening Hours:

About Us:
Situated in the heart of Richmond, our well-established dental practice provides a welcoming and professional environment for both NHS and private patients. We pride ourselves on delivering top-quality care, offering a full range of dental services, from routine check-ups and fillings to cutting-edge cosmetic treatments.

Our private offerings include advanced services such as professional teeth whitening, Clearstep invisible braces, and rejuvenating facial aesthetic treatments. At our practice, we focus on creating confident smiles and providing care that leaves our patients looking and feeling their best.

We are now looking to expand our team by welcoming two Trainee Dental Nurses who are keen to begin or further their careers in dental nursing. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and grow within a practice dedicated to professional development.

The Role:
We are seeking proactive and motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Dental Nurses. Whether you are just starting your career or are currently pursuing a dental nursing qualification, this role offers hands-on experience in a busy, modern dental setting.

You will assist our dental practitioners during treatments, help ensure the practice runs smoothly, and provide excellent care to our patients. Full training and support will be provided, making this an ideal position for someone eager to learn and develop new skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Welcome patients warmly, provide reassurance during appointments, and address any queries with professionalism.
  • Chairside Assistance: Assist dentists with treatments by preparing instruments and materials, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring the smooth running of procedures.
  • Instrument Sterilisation: Follow strict infection control protocols to clean and sterilise instruments and equipment.
  • Administrative Tasks: Help with managing patient records, booking appointments, and other essential administrative duties.
  • Stock Monitoring: Keep track of supplies and ensure materials are replenished in a timely manner.
  • X-ray Support: Aid in taking dental radiographs in compliance with safety regulations (training provided).
  • Treatment Preparation: Assist with patient preparation, gather medical histories, and ensure all necessary materials are ready for procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to stay organised
  • Professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for learning and personal development
  • Proof of right to work in the UK and Hepatitis B vaccination (or evidence of starting the vaccination process)
  • Enrolment in an accredited dental nursing course
  • A professional and well-presented appearance

This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic, eager to develop their career, and passionate about providing top-notch patient care.
