Job Title: Trainee Dental Nurse - Part-Time Opportunity

Location: Pimlico, London, SW1V 3HD

Salary: GBP12.21 per hour (negotiable)

Job Type: Permanent - Part-Time.

Rota: 3-4 days per week, including one Saturday per month
Practice hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm | Saturdays, 9:00am - 1:00pm
Working hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm with a one-hour lunch break

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly team. This part-time role is ideal for someone who is currently enrolled or planning to enrol in an accredited dental nursing course and is looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in a supportive and professional environment.

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will assist our clinicians with a variety of procedures while ensuring high standards of care and cleanliness are maintained throughout the surgery. You'll be an essential part of creating a calm, efficient, and welcoming atmosphere for all our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Chairside assistance to dentists during patient treatments
* Cleaning, sterilising, and organising dental instruments and equipment
* Supporting patient care and ensuring their comfort throughout appointments
* Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining clinical hygiene
* Helping manage patient records using basic IT systems

What We're Looking For:

* A professional and caring approach with excellent communication skills
* A proactive and positive attitude towards learning
* Basic IT competency for handling clinical notes and scheduling
* Enrolled or planning to enrol on an approved dental nursing course (e.g. NEBDN Diploma)
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
* Right to work in the UK
