Position/Job Title: Trainee Dental Nurse

Location: Bromley BR1

Salary: £13.40 per hour

Opening Times: Monday to Friday: 9am - 5pm

We are seeking a dedicated individual who is looking to start their career in dental nursing and join our team as a full-time Trainee Dental Nurse. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to begin their dental career with full training and support provided by our experienced and dedicated team.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have regarding their dental health.
  • Provide direct patient care by preparing patients for treatment, explaining procedures, and ensuring their comfort throughout the visit.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required using IT systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
  • Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
  • Manage the sterilisation of dental instruments and maintain cleanliness in treatment areas.
  • Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

Experience

  • Enrolled on the NEBDN Dental Course or planning to register.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective patient interaction.
  • Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy clinical environment.
