Position/Job Title: Trainee Dental Nurse
Location: Harrow HA3
Salary: £13.80 per hour
Opening Times: Monday to Friday: 9am - 5pm
Post: Part-time

Opening Hours:

Monday to Wednesday & Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Thursday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am - 1:30 pm

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work in a supportive environment. We are passionate about building great teams who trust each other, work professionally, and take ownership of the practice's success. This includes:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Dentist by providing chairside support, ensuring that the correct equipment and materials are available
  • Provide support and assistance to a wide array of patients
  • Follow practice health and safety and infection control procedures
  • Keep the clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy, and disinfected
  • Accurately complete patient clinical records
  • Complete all clinical daily, weekly, and monthly logs and checks
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records.

About You:

  • Personable, positive, and enthusiastic with a great customer focus
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and good organisation skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Provide proof of vaccination & enhanced DBS
  • Must be considering or already enrolled on an approved dental nurse course
