Job summary

The Academy of Dental Nursing Ltd is advertising for a trainee dental nurse at a busy NHS and private practice in Chirk, Wrexham. This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Training will cover high-quality dental nursing, assisting clinicians, cross-infection and decontamination, surgery prep and closing, Health and Safety, Infection Control, basic First Aid, GDPR and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Training will be provided to become a dental nurse.
• You will learn cross-infection and decontamination procedures.
• You will assist clinicians with dental procedures.
• You will learn Health & Safety and Infection Control practices.
• You will handle patient confidentiality and GDPR procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality dental nursing to assist clinicians with procedures.
• Ensure that cross-infection and decontamination procedures are carried out correctly.
• Prepare and close the surgeries.
• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures.
• Follow Infection Control procedures and basic First Aid guidelines.

Job description

We are advertising for a client who requires a candidate to train as a dental nurse for their busy NHS & private dental practice in Chirk, Wrexham.

This exciting opportunity is a full time position between Monday - Friday from 8.30am - 5.30pm . 5 days per week.

Training within the practice will include:

• * carrying out high quality dental nursing to assist each clinicians with dental procedures
• * ensuring that all cross-infection and decontamination procedures are carried out correctly
• * Preparing and closing of the surgeries
• * Health and Safety procedures
• * Infection Control procedures
• * Basic First Aid & Medical Emergencies
• * Patient Confidentiality and GDPR procedures

Minimum wage will be paid whilst in training.
