Working and Training as a Dental Nurse
A dental nurse works alongside the Dentist, assisting in various NHS and Private dental procedures, ensuring the best patient care and experience.
About the Role
As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work in a supportive environment. We are passionate about building great teams that trust each other, work professionally, and take ownership of the practice's success. Responsibilities include:
- Assist the Dentist by providing chairside support and ensuring equipment and materials are available
- Support and assist a wide range of patients
- Follow practice health and safety and infection control procedures
- Keep clinical areas, equipment, and instruments clean, tidy, and disinfected
- Accurately complete patient clinical records
- Complete all clinical logs and checks regularly
Training Support
Rodericks Dental Partners will support Trainee Nurses enrolled in or working towards a Dental Nursing Qualification. We can assist in finding a course provider if needed. The National Diploma in Dental Nursing (Level 3) includes:
- On-the-job training
- Online learning
- Face-to-face training sessions
- Record of experience
- Written and practical exams
