We are seeking a dedicated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic 4 Surgery Mixed dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires strong organisational skills and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
To support the Head Nurse and Senior Nurse in the day-to-day running of the practice.
To complement the dental team by performing extended duties as per experience and training received and in accordance with the needs of the practice.
To act as an essential part of the team, setting the standard for excellence in dental nursing.
Provide excellent patient care by preparing patients for treatment, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
Sterilise instruments and manage infection control protocols in accordance with health regulations.
Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
Uphold a clean and organised work environment to enhance patient comfort and safety.
Skills

Basic IT skills to manage patient records and scheduling systems effectively.
Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with patients and colleagues.
Highly organised with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
