Aufgaben

• Provide chair-side support in day-to-day activities within the practice and surgeries.
• Ensure delivery of excellent patient care while complying with clinical and health & safety guidance.
• Create a welcoming environment for patients.
• Maximise the use of the Software of Excellence system to maintain accurate patient records.
• Ensure the surgery is set up appropriately for each session to maximise efficiency.
• Anticipate the needs of clinicians and patients and have lab work and equipment ready.
• Monitor surgery stocks to maintain stock levels.
• Undertake reception duties including answering calls, making appointments and collecting patient charges.

We have an exciting opportunity for afull-time Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly and welcomingteam at Diamond Dental!

Diamond Dental Practice has been looking after patients in Glasgow for more than 25 years.Our experienced dentists and dental hygienists provide private and NHS dental treatment of the highest standard. We offer all basic and emergency treatments as well as crowns, porcelain veneers, bridges and dentures, and other dental cosmetic work.

The practice itself is located right beside the Glasgow Fort and hasgreat transport links making it easily accessible.

Your Role

You will be responsible for providing chair side support in all day-to-day activities within the practice and surgeries. You will play an important role in a ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care while complying with all clinical and health & safety guidance.

Other duties include –

• Creating a welcoming environment for patients that sets them at ease from the outset

• Maximising the use of the internal system (Software of Excellence) to ensure accurate patient records are maintained

• Ensuring the surgery is set up appropriately for each session throughout the day to maximise the efficiency of the practice and surgery utilisation

• Anticipating the requirements of the clinician and patient in advance of their session and ensure necessary lab work and equipment is in place

• Monitoring surgery stocks to ensure that appropriate stock levels are maintained

• Undertaking reception duties when required including answering the telephone, making appointments and collecting patient charges
